Greetings! This is a remake project of the Japanese homebrew Super Famicom bootleg game Hong Kong 97

This was made with the intention of fully recreating the original game as an homage, with planned extra stuff too. The plan here was to make it as faithful as possible to the original game, while at the same time make small adjustments to improve the game slightly (well.. as much as there's possible to improve with this game)

This isn't a complete game by any means, it's more of a basic demo if anything. Some elements are missing such as custom enemy bullets and varying background colors (per "level"), but they will be added at some point. Hope you enjoy what there is in the meantime!

• Functioning language options
• Increased difficulty after each boss kill (Roughly 10 "levels" until it becomes unbearable)
• Auto playing cutscenes at the title screen if idle for too long (adapted from the original)
